茄子直播 ranked 8th in the world, 1st in Canada, for scientific performance

The latest annual rankings on scientific performance places the University of Toronto eighth in the world and first  in Canada.

The rankings, released by the (NTU), are based on indicators representing three different criteria of scientific performance: research productivity, research impact and research excellence.

The 茄子直播 and University of Oxford (ranked ninth) were the only non-American institutions to place in the top 10.

Since 2007, the 茄子直播 has consistently ranked between seventh and 14th in the world, and first in Canada in the NTU rankings. Two other Canadian universities ranked among NTU鈥檚 top 50 this year: UBC (27th) and McGill (34th).

"This ranking is another testament to the remarkable breadth and the wide-ranging impact of scientific research conducted at 茄子直播. It is gratifying to have the world-class performance and the enduring excellence of our researchers recognized yet again," said Professor Ray Jayawardhana, Canada Research Chair in Observational Astrophysics and Senior Advisor on Science Engagement to the University's President.

The NTU rankings mark the third time in less than two months that the University of Toronto has been rated first in Canada and among the world鈥檚 top 20 universities in prestigious international rankings.  The 2013 QS World University Ranking, released September 10th, ranked 茄子直播 17th in the world and the Times Higher Education World University Rankings, released October 2nd, ranked 茄子直播 20th in the world.
